The County Court Fees (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999

Coming into operation
12th April 1999

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 116(1) of the Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978(1), after consultation with the Lord Chief Justice and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:—

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the County Court Fees (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999 and shall come into operation on 12th April 1999.

Fee to be taken on an application for a warrant of arrest

2.  In Section IV of Schedule 1 to the County Court Fees Order (Northern Ireland) 1996(2) after paragraph 3 there shall be added the following new paragraph—

“UNDER ARTICLE 5 OF THE PROTECTION FROM HARASSMENT (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1997(3)

4.
On an application for a warrant of arrest
£10.00”.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order.)
This Order amends the County Court Fees Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 so as to prescribe the fee to be taken on an application for a warrant of arrest under Article 5(3) of the Protection from Harassment (Northern Ireland) Order 1997.
