The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 36(8) and 45 of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968(1) and section 42(1) of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Rules–

Citation and commencement

1.  These Rules may be cited as the Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Rules 1986 etc (Revocations) (Scotland) Rules 1997 and shall come into force on 1st April 1997.

Revocations

2.  The following Rules shall be revoked on 1st April 1997–

The Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Rules 1986(3);

The Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Amendment Rules 1996(4);

The Reporter’s Duties and Transmission of Information, etc. (Scotland) Rules 1971(5).
