The A4 Trunk Road (Hillingdon) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Variation Order 1997

The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(2), and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:

Commencement and citation

1.  This Order may be cited as The A4 Trunk Road (Hillingdon) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996 Variation Order 1997 and shall come into force on 17th October 1997.

Variation

2.  The A4 Trunk Road (Hillingdon) Red Route (Clearway) Traffic Order 1996(3) is varied as provided by the following provisions of this Order.

3.  In Schedule 2, item 5 is deleted and replaced with the following item—

“The A4, Bath Road, the south side, between a point 5 metres west of the western boundary of the “Three Magpies” public house, and a point 37 metres east of that boundary.”.

Signed in accordance with a direction from the Secretary of State.
