The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 92(1) and 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1)and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf(2), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Oxleas National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Amendment Order 1997 and shall come into force on 9th December 1997.

(2) In this Order, “that Order” means the Oxleas National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1997(3).

Amendment of NHS trust Transfer of Trust Property Order

2.—(1) The title of that Order shall be “The Oxleas National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) (No. 2) Order 1997”.

(2) In Article 1(1) of that Order, for the words “the Oxleas National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1997”, there shall be substituted the words “the Oxleas National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) (No. 1) Order 1997”.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends an Order transferring to Oxleas National Health Service Trust on 9th December 1997, property formerly held by Ravensbourne National Health Service Trust, by correcting the title and citation of that Order. As this Order is made to correct defects in that Order, it is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Order.

In making The Oxleas National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1997 S.I. 1997/2453, which this Order amends, the Secretary of State had regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of facilities previously managed by Ravensbourne National Health Service Trust, and consulted that Trust and the Oxleas National Health Service Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977 (c. 49).
