(AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 2011



RETIREMENT FUND ACT 1998

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Retirement Fund
Act 1998, Cabinet makes the following Regulations ‑



1 Short Title

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Retirement Fu d (Administration)
(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2011.

(2) The Retirement Fund (Administration) Regulations 1999, as amended, are
referred to in these Regulations as the Principal Regulations.

2 Regulation 5 amended - Leaving Service Benefit

Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended —

(a) in sub-regulation (4)(a) by deleting the words “until such other time” and
replacing it with the words “any other time”;

(b) in sub-regulation (8) by repealing sub-regulation (8) and replacing it with the
following —



“(8) The Transfer Cashable Account and the Member Voluntary Account
are not preserved and, subject to any prior payment ade under these

Regulations, the Fund Board shall pay the balances of these accounts to
the Member on request after ceasing service.”.
