AN ACT TO AMEND THE NATIONAL RETIREMENT BENEFITS

SCHEME ACT

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the

Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1 Preliminary

(1) This Act may be cited as the National Retirement Benefits Scheme

(Amendment) Act, 2013.

(2) The National Retirement Benefits Scheme Act, as amended is in this Act

referred to as the Principal Act.

2 Amendment to Section 33

Subsection (1) of Section 33 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting

immediately after the figure “1998” the words “and the Legislative Assembly

Retirement Fund established by the Legislative Assembly Retirement Benefits

Scheme Act, 2004”.
