STATUTE LAW OF THE BAHAMAS LRO 1/2010

EXTRADITION (APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES) ORDER

(SECTION 4) [Commencement 20th September, 1994]

WHEREAS an Extradition Treaty was signed on the 9th day of March, 1990 between the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Government of the United States of America.

NOW in pursuance of the powers vested in him by section 4(1) of the Extradition Act, 1994 the Minister makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Extradition (Application to the United States) Order.

2. The provisions of the Act shall apply to the United States of America.

EXTRADITION (APPLICATION TO FOREIGN STATES) ORDER

(SECTION 4) [Commencement 2nd November, 1994]

1. This Order may be cited as the Extradition (Application to Foreign States) Order.

2. The provisions of the Act shall apply to the countries named in the Schedule and each being a country with whom there exists an extradition treaty or agreement with The Bahamas.
