AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS (FRUIT AND VEGETABLE) RULES
(SECTION 4) [Commencement 22nd July, 1931]
1. These Rules may be cited as the Agricultural Products (Fruit and Vegetable) Rules.
2. (1) No fruit or vegetable shall be exported unless packed in a packing house licensed for the purpose by the Minister.
(2) Fruit and vegetables intended for export shall be subject to inspection by an officer of the Ministry who shall have power to disallow the shipment of any such produce which in his opinion is by reason of bad packing, grading or inferior condition unsuitable for exportation.
3. No person shall export fruit and/or vegetables after being notified verbally or in writing by an officer of the Ministry that exportation has been disallowed.
