RANDOL FAWKES LABOUR DAY ACT, 2013

AN ACT TO RENAME THE PUBLIC HOLIDAY KNOWN AS "LABOUR DAY" AS "RANDOL FAWKES LABOUR DAY"

1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Randol Fawkes Labour Day Act, 2013.

2. Renaming of Labour Day.

The 1st Friday of June of each year, which is observed as "Labour Day" in accordance with section 3 of the Public Holidays Act (Ch. 36), shall hereinafter be observed as "Randol Fawkes Labour Day".

3. Amendment to First Schedule Chapter 36.

The First Schedule to the Public Holidays Act is amended by the deletion of the words "Labour Day" and the substitution thereof of the words "Randol Fawkes Labour Day".
