Fee-Charging Standards for the Registration of Cosmetic Products and Cosmetic Colorants

Article 1


These Standards are adopted pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 3 of Article 7, Paragraph 2 of Article 8, Paragraph 3 of Article 16, Paragraph 2 of Article 17, and Article 33-1 of the Statute for Control of Cosmetic Hygiene and Article 10 of the Charges and Fees Act.


Article 2


The standards for charging fees to register cosmetic products and cosmetic colorants are as follows:
I. The review fee charged for registering new cosmetics containing medicine and new cosmetic colorants shall be NT$36,000 per application.
II. The review fee charged for registering cosmetics containing medicine and cosmetic colorants shall be NT$12,000 per application.
III. The review fee to register changes of cosmetics containing medicine and cosmetic colorants:
(I) For change of product name, packaging, usage, business applicant, or manufacturer, NT$3,500 shall be charged per application.
(II) For change of ingredient or item, NT$5,000 shall be charged per application.
IV. The review fee charged for registering license extension of cosmetics containing medicine and cosmetic colorants shall be NT$3,500 per application.
V. The review fee charged for registering package separation or package alteration of imported cosmetics shall be NT$5,000 per application.
VI. For reissuing lost licenses, approved documents of label or package insert for cosmetics containing medicine and cosmetic colorants, NT$3,500 shall be charged per application.
VII. The review fee charged for regulatory determination of the property of cosmetic products shall be NT$2,500 per application.
VIII. The fee charged for a license or certificate shall be NT$1,500 each.


Article 3


These Standards shall be implemented from 1 July 2015.
