| AN ACT TO AMEND THE- APPROPRIATION ACT, NO. 6 OF 2000 | | |

| Be it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows :" | |

Short title.
| 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Amendment) Act, No. 32 of 2000. | Amendment of section 2 of Act No. 6 of 2000.
| 2. Section 2 of the Appropriation Act. No. 6 of 2000, is hereby amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words "rupees one hundred and sixty nine thousand twenty three million." of the words "rupees one hundred and eighty nine thousand twenty three million". | Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency.
| 3. In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act. the Sinhala text shall prevail. | |
