| AN ACT TO AMEND THE APPROPRIATION ACT, NO. 6 of 2002 | | |

| BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows : | |

Short title.
| 1.This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Amendment) Act, No. 29 of 2002. | Amendment of section 2 of Act No 6 of 2002
| 2.Section 2 of the Appropriation Act, No. 6 of 2002 is hereby amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words "rupees three hundred and forty eight thousand five hundred and twenty six million four hundred and sixty seven thousand"., of the words "rupees three hundred and fifty eight thousand seven hundred and six million.". | Sinhala text to prevail in case of in consistency.
| 3.In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail. | |
