ACT To amend the Road Accident Fund Act, 1996, so as to authorise the Fund to make financial contributions to road safety projects and programmes approved by the Minister; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
B E IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa, as fol~0ws:- Amendment of section 4 of Act 56 of 1996
1. Section 4 of the Road Accident Fund Act, 1996, is hereby amended by the addition to subsection (2) of the following paragraph: 5
“ ( I ? ) make financial contributions to road safety projects and programmes approved by the Minister.”.
Short title
2. This Act is called the Road Accident Fund Amendment Act, 2001.
