ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 124
CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON JUNE 12, 1965
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a National Committee to take charge of the celebration of Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 1965.
The Committee shall be composed of the following:
Secretary of Education
Secretary of Labor
Mayor of Manila
Chief of Staff
Commisisoner of Public Highways
Director of Commerce
Director of Museum
Dr. Sotero LaurelâPresident of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities
Col. Simeon Medalla-President, Veterans Federation of the Philippines
Mr. Nereo AndolongâPresident, National Press Club
Mrs. Belen GutierrezâPresident, Civic Assembly of Women of the Philippines
Mr. Demetrio MunozâPresident, Philippine Chamber of Commerce
Mr. Manuel Collas
Ambassador Manuel G. Zamora
The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman and, for the purpose of discharging its functions, may create such sub-committees as may be necessary.
