MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 99

URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION OF THE GOVERNMENT PROSECUTORS’ LEAGUE OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC.

The Government Prosecutors’ League of the Philippines, Inc. (GPIP), will hold its annual National Convention in Manila or suburbs, from March 30 to April 2, 1967, on the theme: “THE PROSECUTORS’ ROLE IN THE. DRIVE AGAINST CRIMINALITY.”

The convention will enable those in the government prosecution service to explore ways and means by which they can contribute their share in the Administration’s drive against all forms of criminality in the country,

All provincial and city fiscals, as well as other ranking members of the prosecuting arm of the government, who are fully accredited members of the League, are hereby authorized to attend the convention on official time with expenses for transportation, subsistence, lodging, and convention fees, chargeable .against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing -requirements: Provided, however, That an adequate force shall be left in their respective offices so as not to disrupt the normal course of official business thereat.
