PROCLAMATION NO. 233
EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 251 DATED MAY 4, 1951, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE WORKINGMEN’S VILLAGE IN THE CITY OF ILOILO, CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND OPENING THE SAME TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PULIC LAND ACT.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 251 dated May 4, 1951, which reserved a tract of land in the City of Iloilo for Workingmen’s Village, certain parcels of land embraced therein and open the same to disposition under the Public Land Act, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcels of land are more particularly described as follows:
Lot 1
A parcel of land (Portion of Proclamation No. 251, Lot 1) situated in Barrio Lapuz, District of La Paz, Iloilo City, Island of Panay. Bounded on the SW along lines 1-2 by Lot 1-A, Philippine Railway Co.; on the NW along lines 2-3-4 by Municipal road; on the NE along lines 4-5-6 by the proposed road and on the SE along lines 6-1 by Proclamation 251. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S. 38 deg. 41 min. E. 1,604.42 meters from B.B.M. No. 57, Iloilo Cadastre;

A parcel of land (Portion of Proclamation 251, Lot 2) situated in Barrio Lapuz, District of La Paz, City of Iloilo, Island of Panay. Bounded on the NW. along line 1-2-3 by the Municipal road; on the NE along lines 3-4-5 by the proposed road; on the SE along lines 5-6-7 by Proclamation 251 and on the SW. along lines 6-7-8 by the proposed road. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S 42 deg. 02 min. E., 1,511.71 meters from B.B.M. No. 57, Iloilo Cadastre;
