MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 148

DIRECTING THAT ALL NEWLY-APPOINTED POLICEMEN UNDERGO THE BASIC POLICE RECRUIT TRAINING COURSE.

All newly appointed policemen, as well as those already in the service but have net undergone any training longer than four (4) weeks, are hereby required to undergo basic Police Recruit Training Course for at least three (3) months in accordance with the policy laid down by the Police Commission. Pending the establishment of regional police academies, the training herein required shall be initially conducted by the Police Commission in Manila and the suburban areas.

The Police Commission is hereby authorized to issue such implementing details as may be necessary to carry out the intents and purpose of this Memorandum Circular.

Other pertinent information about the matter may be secured from the said Commission.
