MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 267

ENJOINING ATTENDANCE IN THE ANNUAL ASSEMBLY OF THE CIVIC ASSEMBLY OF WOMEN OF THE PHILIPPINES.

The Civic Assembly of Women of the Philippines (CAWP) will hold its Annual Assembly at the Philamlife Auditorium and at the Heroes’ Hall, Malacañang, in the morning and afternoon, respectively, on June 10, 1969.

The purpose of the assembly is to commemorate the 71st Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence.

All departments, bureaus and offices, as well as city, provincial and municipal governments, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send not more than three (3) employees each to the assembly, whose attendance will be on official business; that is, on official time and with expenses for transportation, subsistence and lodging, all chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.
