MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 198

CREATING A MANAGEMENT AUDIT COMMITTEE FOR THE RADIO CONTROL OFFICE, DEPARTMENT OR PUBLIC WORKS AND COMMUNICATIONS. (DPWC)

Cognizant of the urgent need of the Radio Control Office and the Department of Public Works and Communications to increase its effectiveness in the carrying but of its functions as prescribed in the Radio Control Law and Ship Radio Law, there is hereby created a Management Audit Committee to study and recommend ways of streamlining the Radio Control Office and its procedures geared towards the attainment of the aforestated objective.

The Committee shall be composed as follows:

Representative, PES-DND Computer Center
Chairman

Representative, Office of the Secretary, DPWC
Member

Representative, Office of the Chairman, Radio Control Office
Member

In the discharge of its functions, the Committee, or any of its members, may call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government including government-owned or controlled corporations and local government Instrumentalities for assistance, and all such government entities are hereby directed to render such assistance whenever so requested by the Committee or any of its members.

The Committee shall submit its report and recommendation on or before October 15, 1970.
