MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 472

URGING ATTENDANCE IN THE THIRD NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE KAISAHAN NG MGA KAWANI NG PAMAHALAAN, INC., (KKP)

The Kaisahan Ng Mga Kawani ng Pamahalaan, Inc. (Philippine Government Employees Union) will hold its Third National Assembly on June 28-30, 1971, at the RM Hall, SSS Building, Quezon City, on the theme “STATE WORKERS AND THE CHALLENGE OF CHANGE.”

Considering the timeliness of the Assembly, all heads of departments, bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations which have the KKP Chapters are hereby authorized to send not more than ten (10) members from each chapter to the Assembly. Offices are likewise authorized to send not more than three (3) observers each. Those delegates and observers coming from the greater Manila area shall be entitled to conference fee and transportation expenses only. Those coming from the provinces are entitled to expenses for lodging, subsistence, transportation and conference fee, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements.

The delegates shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance and participation in the Assembly.

This accordingly amends Memorandum Circular No. 460 dated April 21, 1971, regarding this same matter.
