MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 714

AMENDING MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 614 ENTITLED “URGING NOMINATION OF PARTICIPANTS FOR THE TRAINING PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT ECONOMICS AT THE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES.”

Memorandum Circular No. 614 of this Office dated January 11, 1973, entitled “Urging Nomination of Participants for the Training Program in Development Economics at the School of Economics, University of the Philippines,” is hereby amended so as to include newly established regional development centers and local governments among  the government agencies and subdivisions enjoined to sponsor officials and employees with suitable basic qualifications to participate in the training program, and to authorize the UP School of Economics to pay honorarium of One Hundred Pesos (100.00) per lecture to guest lecturers of the training program, subject to the availability of funds and the usual audit.
