MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 775

AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE ANNUAL CONVENTION FOR FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS AND RESEARCHERS TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS ON NOVEMBER 26-29, 1974

The Philippine Association of Food Technologists will hold its annual convention for food technologists and researchers in Manila on November 26-29, 1974, on the theme: “Food Technology Researchers in the ’70 for Better Nutrition.”

The convention will underscore the importance of food technology in the food processing industry, a major manufacturing industry in the country, and its contribution to the present problems of nutrition.

In view of the relevance of the convention to the food production and nutrition programs for the government, all heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, both national and local, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their officials and employees who are members of the association, to the convention on official time only, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593, series of 1972.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
