MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 783

AUTHORIZING ATTENDNCE IN THE 25TH ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (PGEA).

The Philippine Government Employees Association (PGEA) will hold its 25th Annual Convention in Manila on December 12-14, 1974, on the theme: “The Role of Public Servant in the New Society.”

The convention will coincide with the observance of Government Employees Week which is also the occasion of the PGEA 29th Anniversary.

All heads of departments, chiefs of bureaus and offices, including government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby authorized to send their selected officials and employees to the convention on official time, but no expenditure of whatever nature of government funds in connection therewith shall be authorized, pursuant to the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 395 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a report on their attendance in the convention within thirty (30) days after the termination thereof.
