MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 1048
AUTHORIZING ALL HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS, BUREAUS AND AGENCIES OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT, INCLUDING GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS, AND ALL PROVINCIAL, CITY AND MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENTS TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES LAW CENTER PUBLICATION, ENTITLED “PHILIPPINE PERMANENT AND GENERAL STATUTES, REVISED EDITION.â
The University of the Philippines Law Center is now undertaking the publication of a revised updated edition of Philippine Permanent and General Statutes in five (5) volumes, containing all Philippine laws of a general and permanent nature, enacted since the Philippine Commission up to the last Republic Act passed by the defunct Congress of the Philippines and all related Presidential Decrees promulgated by the President of the Philippines up to September 21, 1977.
All heads of departments, bureaus and agencies of the national government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, and all provincial, city and municipal governments are urged to avail of the use of the U.P. Law Center’s updated compilation of Philippine statutes, as amended by Presidential Decrees, and are hereby authorized to disburse the amount of five hundred pesos (â±500.00) from their authorized budget for supplies or equipment or from savings, to cover their pre-publication subscription to the said U.P. Law Center publication.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
