MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 1117

AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE SEMINAR ON EDP SYSTEMS AUDITABILITY AND CONTROL SPONSORED BY THE BUSINESS COUNSELLING GROUP, INC.

The Business Counselling Group, Inc. in cooperation with SRI International, will conduct a Seminar on EDP Systems Auditability and Control at the Manila Hotel on February 19-20, 1979.

The attendance of one (1) participant, who is a senior EDP official involved in developing, and designing new computer-based information systems or a government auditor assigned in reviewing and evaluating computer systems, from each government agency which has an EDP center/installation in the said seminar, is hereby authorized on official time with reasonable expenses for transportation and a seminar fee of 11,700 per participant, chargeable against the appropriations of their respective offices, in accordance with the provisions of. Presidential Decree No. 344 dated November 26, 1973, as implemented by COA General Circular No. 127, series of 1973, subject to the availability of funds and the usual accounting and auditing requirements, as an exception to Memorandum Circular No. 593 of this Office dated August 8, 1972.

The participants shall submit to their respective office heads a complete report on their attendance or participation in the seminar as prescribed under Memorandum Circular No. 987 dated June 10, 1977.
