MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 1273

URGING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES CONCERNED TO GIVE MAXIMUM SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION IN THE CONDUCT OF THE 1984 CAREER SERVICE (PROFESSIONAL AND SUBPROFESSIONAL LEVELS) EXAMINATIONS

WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission is charged with the duty of administering the Career Service (Professional and Subprofessional levels) examinations;

WHEREAS, the Career Service (Professional and Subprofessional levels) examinations are scheduled on October 14, 1984 in at least 50 examination centers throughout the country;

WHEREFORE, the Ministry of National Defense, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the National Intelligence and Security Authority, the Integrated National Police, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Shorts and all offices under these agencies are hereby urged to extend maximum support and assistance to the Civil Service Commission to ensure full security and smooth administration of the 1984 Career Service (Professional and Subprofessional levels) examinations;

The Office of Media Affairs, the National Media Production Center, the Philippine Airlines, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications the Ministry of Public Works and Highways, the Philippine National railways, and the Electronic Data Processing Systems Office of the Philippine Sugar Commission are likewise enjoined to extend maximum support and assistance relative to the dissemination of essential information on the holding of the examinations, the utilization of communication facilities throughout the country, the transport of examination materials and personnel, and the computer processing; of the test results, respectively;

The Deputy Minister of National Defense, the Commanding General of the Aviation Security Command, and the Commissioner o Customs are requested to exempt from inspection all classified materials pertinent to the examinations;

All heads of government agencies whose representatives may e designated by the Chairman/Commissioners or the Regional Directors of the Civil Service Commission, to compose the Regional Examination Committees and the Local Examination Committees to established in provincial/city capitals where the examinations will be held, are requested to extend maximum support and assistance in all matters relative to the conduct of the examinations.
