MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 233

CREATING A COMMITTEE ON AWARDS TO SCREEN NOMINEES FROM THIS OFFICE TO THE OUTSTANDING PUBLIC AND HONOR AWARDS PROGRAM OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

Pursuant to MC No. 1, series of 1989 of the Civil Service Commission and PD NO. 807 dated October 6, 1975, providing for appropriate recognition of exemplary service in government, thereby encouraging the enhancement of proficiency and effectiveness from public civil servants, there is hereby created a Committee on Awards in the Office of the President composed of representatives from the following offices:

Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary as Chairman
Office of the Presidential Finance Assistant, Member
Personnel Office, Member

This Committee shall be charged with the responsibility to select and screen nominees for awards from among qualified employees in this Office.
