MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 328

CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE OFFICIAL VISIT OF HIS EXCELLENCY, PREMIER LI PENG OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON DECEMBER 13–15, 1990

There is hereby created a National Committee to take charge of the arrangements connected with the Official Visit of His Excellency, Premier Li Peng of the People’s Republic of China on December 13–15, 1990 to be composed of:

The Honorable

The Honorable

Chief of Presidential Protocol
 

The Honorable

Acting Director-General for Protocol
 

Department of Foreign Affairs
 

The Committee shall be responsible for the planning, coordination and smooth execution of all arrangements to be made in connection with the official visit.

The Committee is authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or any instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in discharging its duties and functions. The Committee is likewise authorized to create sub-committees as necessary.

This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
