MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 388

AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDERS NOS. 339 AND 358, BOTH SERIES OF 1991.

In line with Executive Order No. 479 dated August 27, 1991 strengthening and streamlining the Presidential Action Center and in order to maximize the services of personnel resources holding regular items in the plantilla of the Office of the President, the following directives are hereby issued:

1. The Executive Committee and the Secretariat organized and constituted under Memorandum Order No. 339 to serve as interim action staff of the Presidential Action Center are hereby dissolved. All members of the Executive Committee and of the Secretariat, who do not hold regular plantilla items in the Office of the President shall return to their respective agencies.

2. Memorandum Order No. 358 dated 7 May 1991 authorizing the payment of monthly honoraria and/or additional compensation to the employees holding the positions listed therein is repealed.

3. The Presidential Action Center shall henceforth be manned by the organic personnel of the former Malacañang Public Assistance Center.

4. To ensure support for the Presidential Action Center, the same shall be under the direct supervision of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Internal Administration.

This Memorandum Order takes effect immediately.
