BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 276

CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON JUNE 12, 1992

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a National Committee to take charge of the celebration of Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 1992.

The Committee shall be composed of the following:

Secretary of Finance

Chairman

Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines

Vice Chairman

Secretary of Foreign Affairs

Member

Secretary of Agriculture

Member

Secretary of Public Works and Highways

Member

Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports

Member

Secretary of Labor and Employment

Member

Secretary of National Defense

Member

Secretary of the Interior and Local Government

Member

Secretary of Tourism

Member

Secretary of Transportation and Communications

Member

Secretary of Social Welfare and Development

Member

Secretary of Budget and Management

Member

Press Secretary

Member

Head, Presidential Management Staff

Member

Chief of Presidential Protocol

Member

Chairman, Metro Manila Authority

Member

Chairman of the National Historical Institute

Member

The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman and for purposes of discharging its functions, it may create such sub-committees as may be necessary.

The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the government, including government-owned or controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in the discharge of its functions.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 13th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and ninety-two.
