PROCLAMATION NO. 178

ESTABLISHING AS LUCNAB WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE FOR PURPOSES OF PROTECTING, MAINTAINING, OR IMPROVING ITS WATER YIELD AND PROVIDING RESTRAINING MECHANISM FOR INAPPROPRIATE FOREST EXPLOITATION AND DISRUPTIVE LAND-USE, CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN RESIDENCE SECTION “D”, CITY OF BAGUIO, ISLAND OF LUZON, PHILIPPINES.

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law and pursuant to Section 18, P.D. No. 705, otherwise known as the Forest Reform Code of 1975, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and set aside as Lucnab Watershed Forest Reserve under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision and control of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in coordination with other agencies of the government with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for domestic use and other forestry purposes subject to private rights, if any there be, certain parcels of land of the public domain situated in Residence “D”, City of Baguio, Island of Luzon, and more particularly described as follows:

Lot 1, Swo-CAR-042

A parcel of land identified as Lot 1, Swo-CAR-042, situated at Residence Section “D”, City of Baguio, Island of Luzon, bounded on the W., along lines 1-2-3-4 by Public Land; on the NW., and NE., along lines 4-5-6 by Psu-175614 (Portion); on the E., along line 6-7 by property of Bencina Locloc Pasking (Psu-18500, OCT No. 0-182); along line 8-9 by Lot 2, Swo-CAR-042; along lines 9-10-11 by public land; and on the W., along line 11-1 by Lot 75-E., Ts-42. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being S. 40 deg. 41’E., 754.47 m. from Triangulation Station “CIRCLE”, Baguio Townsite, thence N. 22 deg. 54’E., 58.65 m. to point 2; thence N. 60 deg. 24’W., 44.85 m. to point 3; thence N. 13 deg. 21’E., 55.00 m. to point 4; thence N. 58 deg. 47’E., 41.83 m. to point 5; thence S. 73 deg. 39’E., 173.32 m. to point 6; thence S. 12 deg. 09’W., 225.92 m. to point 7; thence S., 11 deg. 47’W., 94.87 m. to point 8; thence N. 59 deg 49’W., 201.68 m. to point 9; thence N. 61 deg. 07’W., 34.67 m. to point 10; thence N. 38 deg. 39’E., 70.85 m. to point 11; thence N. 37 deg. 23’E., 47.44 m. to point of beginning, containing an area of FIFTY SIX THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWELVE (56,712) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by B.L. Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cms.; Bearings True; date of survey on March 10-23, 1990 and approved on August 21, 1991.

Lot 2, Swo-CAR-042

A parcel of land identified as Lot 2, Swo-CAR-042, situated at Residence Section “D”, City of Baguio, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the SW., along line 1-2 by property of Immaculate Heart of Mary (Tsa-V-1902-D); on the NW., along line 2-3 by Public land; on the NE., along line 3-4 by Lot 1, Swo-CAR-042; and on the SE., along line 4-1 by Psu-175614 (Portion). Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being S. 37 deg. 17’E., 1017.97 m. from Triangulation Station “CIRCLE”, Baguio Townsite, thence N. 55 deg. 04’W., 179.84 m. to point 2; thence N. 42 deg. 24’W., 32.09 m. to point 3; thence S. 59 deg. 49’S., 201.69 m. to point 4; thence S. 11 deg. 45’W., 25.83 m. to point of beginning, containing an area of THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FOUR (3,104) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by B.L. Cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 60 cms; Bearings true; date of survey on March 10-23, 1990: and was approved on August 21, 1991.
