PROCLAMATION NO. 294

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 31, SERIES OF 1920 WHICH RESERVED CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES OF THE GLAN CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GLAN, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, BY INCLUDING IN ITS OPERATION LOT NOS. 258 AND 259, RS-1453

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 31, series of 1920 which reserved certain parcels of land for school site purposes of the Glan Central Elementary School situated in the Municipality of Glan, Province of South Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, and include in its operation Lot Nos. 258 and 259, RS-1453, which parcels of land are more particularly described as follows:

Lot No. 258, Rs-1453

(Glan School Site)

A PARCEL OF LAND, Lot No. 258, Rs-1453, situated in the Barrio of Poblacion, Municipality of Glan, Province of South Cotabato, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the NW., N., NE., E., SE., S., SW., and W., along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-1 by Road. Beginning at a point marked “1” of Lot 258, Rs-1453, being N. 51-12 E., 147.97 m. from Pls-490-D, thence;

N. 48-15 E., 3.12 m. to point 2;

S. 89-56 E., 94.71 m. to point 3;

S. 45-38 E., 3.16 m. to point 4;

S. 00-10 E., 95.65 m. to point 5;

S. 47-12 W., 2.77 m. to point 6;

N. 89-54 W., 95.62 m. to point 7;

N. 42-58 W., 2.98 m. to point 8;

N. 00-04 E., 95.43 m. to point 1;

point of beginning, containing an area of NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND TWELVE (9,912) SQUARE METERS. All points referred to are indicated and are marked on the ground by B.L. Cyl. Conc. Mons. Bearings true;

A PARCEL OF LAND, Lot No. 259, Rs-1453, situated in the Barrio of Poblacion, Municipality of Glan, Province of South Cotabato, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the W., NW., N., NE., and E., along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6 by Road and on the S., along line 6-7 by Lot 222, Rs-1453; and along line 7-1 by Lot 260, Rs-1453. Beginning at a point marked “1” of Lot 259, Rs-1453, being S. 36-31 E., 193-04 m. from Pls-490-D, thence;

N. 00-21 W., 17.87 m. to point 2;

N. 45-57 E., 2.96 m. to point 3;

N. 89-49 E., 41.78 m. to point 4;

S. 45-24 E., 3.09 m. to point 5;

S. 00-39 E., 17.78 m. to point 6;

N. 89-19 W., 23.20 m. to point 7;

S. 89-02 W., 23.00 m. to point 1; point of beginning

Containing an area of NINE HUNDRED AND EIGHT (908) SQUARE METERS. All points referred to are indicated and are marked on the ground by B.L. Cyl. Conc. Mons; Bearings true.

These Lots were surveyed in accordance with law and existing regulations promulgated thereunder by Basilio Escote, Public Land Surveyor, on September 30, 1969 and approved on February 27, 1978.
