MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 91

AUTHORIZING ATTENDANCE IN THE MIDYEAR SEMINAR OF THE

ASSOCIATION OF SPECIAL LIBRARIES OF THE PHILIPPINES

The Association of Special Libraries of the Philippines, Inc. (ASLP) will conduct a two-day midyear seminar on the theme: “Ensuring Quality Library Services – Today’s Mandate and Challenge,” on May 19-20, 1994. The seminar is a follow through of the first symposium held on January 28, 1994 on Total Quality Management and will be credited to the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements of librarians.

The participation of government librarians in the seminar is hereby authorized on official time only, provided there will be no disruption of normal office activities/services in their respective agencies by reason thereof.

The participants shall submit to their respective agency heads a complete report on their attendance in the seminar. Likewise, ASLP is requested to submit to this Office and the Civil Service Commission a general report and evaluation of the seminar, including a list by office of participants from the government.
