Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-fifth
day of July, nineteen hundred and ninety-four.
[REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7938]
AN ACT UPGRADING AND CONVERTING THE NORTHERN MINDANAO REGIONAL TRAINING HOSPITAL IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY INTO A MEDICAL CENTER, TO BE KNOWN AS THE NORTHERN MINDANAO MEDICAL CENTER, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFORE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The existing Northern Mindanao Regional Training Hospital situated in the City of Cagayan de Oro shall be upgraded and converted into the Northern Mindanao Medical Center.
SEC. 2. The hospital facilities of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center shall be upgraded and increased, consistent with the requirements of modern medical technology and its status as a medical center. Accordingly, its bed capacity shall be increased from two hundred (200) to three hundred (300) beds.
SEC. 3. The number of medical personnel of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center shall correspondingly be increased.
SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
