PROCLAMATION NO. 1241

CREATING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN LANDS OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY PASONG KAWAYAN II, MUNICIPALITY OF GEN. TRIAS, PROVINCE OF CAVITE, AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916

Upon recommendation of the Director General, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and Resolution No. 98-014, dated January 14, 1998 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as a Special Economic Zone (ECOZONE), an area located in Barangay Pasong Kawayan II, Municipality of Gen. Trias, Province of Cavite, consisting of ONE MILLION FORTY-NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN (1,049,518) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
