CREATING AND DESIGNATING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN BARANGAYS SAN RAFAEL AND STA. ANASTACIA, MUNICIPALITY OF STO. TOMAS, IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE TO BE KNOWN AS LIGHT INDUSTRY & SCIENCE PARK III PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748
Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as a special economic zone, subject to the provisions of the Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution No. 96-416 dated 23 December 1996 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, a parcel of land located in Barangays San Rafael and Sta. Anastacia, Municipality of Sto. Tomas, Province of Batangas, to be known as LIGHT INDUSTRY & SCIENCE PARK III, containing an area of SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY (782,280) square meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:
