PROCLAMATION NO. 14

DECLARING THURSDAY, MARCH 8, 2001, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF COMPOSTELA VALLEY

WHEREAS, Thursday, March 8, 2001, marks the 3rd Foundation Day Anniversary of the Province of Compostela Valley;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Compostela Valley be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremony;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, March 8, 2001, as a special day in the Province of Compostela Valley.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
