PROCLAMATION NO. 446

DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2003, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS

WHEREAS, Friday, September 5, 2003, marks the 35th Charter Day anniversary of the City of General Santos;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, September 5, 2003, as a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 21st day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Three.
