PROCLAMATION NO. 504

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 6 DATED FEBRUARY 15, 2001 WHICH DECLARED CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED IN CUBAO, QUEZON CITY OPEN FOR DISPOSITION IN FAVOR OF THE ACTUAL OCCUPANTS BY SEGREGATING THE PORTION PREVIOUSLY COVERED BY PROCLAMATION NO. 478 FROM ITS COVERAGE AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR REHABILITATION CENTER PURPOSES OF THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PERSONS

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 6 dated February 15, 2001, which declared certain parcels of land located in Cubao, Quezon City open to disposition in favor of the actual occupants, by excluding an area of THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN (31,777) SQUARE METERS previously covered by Proclamation No. 478 dated December 29, 1953 and reserving the same for Rehabilitation Center purposes of the physically handicapped (presently known as people with disabilities) under the supervision and administration of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot No. 7-F, Sub-block No. 13-F, subdivision plan Psd-473, being a part of Lot No. 7, Sub-block No. 13-F, Psd-244), situated in the Municipality of San Juan Del Monte, Province of Rizal (now Cubao, Quezon City), bounded on the NE., by the Tuason Estate; on the SE., by Lot No. 7-D, Sub-block No. 13-F, Psd-473; on the SW., by Lot No. 7-E, sub-block No. 13-F, Psd-473 and on the NW., by Lot No. 7-G, Sub-block No. 13-F, Psd-473. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S. 76 deg. 48’W., 2,573.33 m. from B.L.L.M. No. 1 Mariquina, thence:

N. 19 deg. 06′ W.,

122.12 m. to point 2;

N. 70 deg. 55′ E.,

138.75 m. to point 3;

N. 71 deg. 05′ E.,

126.35 m. to point 4;

S. 11 deg. 11′ E.,

126.80 m. to point 5;

S. 71 deg. 54′ W.,

68.08 m. to point 6;

S. 71 deg. 47′ W.,

179.58 m. to point of

beginning, containing an area of THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN (31,777) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points indicated on the plan and marked on the ground with concrete monuments 15 cm. In diameter by 80 cm. long. Bearings true; declination being 0 deg. 50′ E., date of original survey, January 31 to March 13, 1924.
