PROCLAMATION NO. 648

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING, KNOWN AS THE DILIMAN IT BUILDING, WHICH WILL BE ESTABLISHED ON PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED ALONG COMMONWEALTH AVENUE, BARANGAY BATASAN HILLS, DILIMAN QUEZON CITY AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BUILDING PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916 otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as Information Technology Building, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolutions Nos. 00-411 and 04-022 dated 29 December 2001 and 28 January 2004, respectively, of the PEZA Board of Directors, the Diliman IT Building, which will be established on parcels of land located along Commonwealth Avenue, Barangay Batasan Hills, Diliman, Quezon City, containing an aggregate area of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTEEN SQUARE METERS AND THIRTY DECIMETERS (2,915.30), more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of land (Lot 1, Block. 9 of the subdivision plan Psd-13-009025, being a portion of Lot 830-B-2, Psd-04-001738, LRC Rec. No. 5975), situated in University District, Quezon City, Metro Manila. Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2 by Lot 2 Block 9; on the SE., along line 2-3 by Road Lot 2 both of the subdivision plan; on the S., along line 3-4 by Lot 831-B-2, Psd-04-001738; and on the NW., along line 4-1 by Don Mariano Marcos Ave. (Lot 830-A, Psd-34942) (R.P.).
