PROCLAMATION NO. 693

DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 20, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA

WHEREAS, Friday, August 20, 2004, marks the 43rd Charter Day anniversary of the City of Lucena;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lucena be given full opportunity to commemorate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, August 20, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lucena.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 13th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Four.
