BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

PROCLAMATION NO. 702

DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8797 provided for the conversion of the Municipality of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan into a component city to be known as the City of San Jose del Monte;

WHEREAS, Friday, September 10, 2004, marks the 4th Charter Day anniversary of the City of San Jose del Monte with the theme: “TULOY-TULOY SA KAUNLARAN;”

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of San Jose del Monte be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, September 10, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of San Jose del Monte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of September, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Four.
