DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN PEDRO, LAGUNA
WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 22, 2006, marks the celebration of “San Pedro Day”, the feast day of the “Chair of Saint Peter the Apostle” and the “Sampaguita Festival” in the Municipality of San Pedro, Laguna;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of San Pedro, Laguna be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 22, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of San Pedro, Laguna.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
