PROCLAMATION NO. 1044

DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF EL SALVADOR, MISAMIS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 15, 2006, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the Municipality of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their municipality’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, June 15, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Six.
