PROCLAMATION NO. 1109

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CAVITE

WHEREAS, Thursday, September 7, 2006, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Cavite;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Cavite be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, September 7, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Cavite.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 21st day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Six.
