PROCLAMATION NO. 1032-B

REPEALING PROCLAMATION NO. 1032-A DATED NOVEMBER 22, 2006

WHEREAS, the ASEAN Summit hosted by the Cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu originally scheduled for the period covering December 11-14, 2006 has been postponed;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1032 dated March 10, 2006, as amended by Proclamation No. 1032-A dated November 22, 2006, declared the period of December 11 to 14, 2006 as special (non-working) days in the Cities of Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu-Lapu, applicable to government employees at all levels in these cities only, with the private sector exempted therefrom;

WHEREAS, in view of the postponement of the Summit, the purpose for which Proclamation No. 1032-A, series of 2006, was issued has ceased to exist.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby repeal Proclamation No. 1032-A dated November 22, 2006.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 12th day of December in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand Six.
