PROCLAMATION NO. 1324

DECLARING MONDAY, JULY 16, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION (CAR)

WHEREAS, Sunday, July 15, 2007, marks the 20th Foundation Day Anniversary of the Cordillera Administrative Region;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Cordillera Administrative Region celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Governor, CAR-RDC, requested that Monday, July 16, 2007 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of July 15, 2007, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Cordillera Administrative Region be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, July 16, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 6th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Seven.
