MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 139

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) and in view of the continuing inclement weather brought about by Typhoon “Egay”, work in government offices in the National Capital Region is hereby suspended on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. onwards.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital public services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
