PROCLAMATION NO. 1438

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING TO BE KNOWN AS SM MAKATI CYBERZONE, WHICH SHALL STAND ON THREE PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED AT NO. 69 JUPITER STREET, MAKATI CITY, AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 and Resolution No. 07-142 dated 18 April 2007 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the SM Makati Cyberzone Building as an Information Technology Center which shall stand on three parcels of land of the private domain located at No. 69 Jupiter Street, Makati City, containing an aggregate area of Six Thousand One Hundred Fifty (6,150) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

Lot 1-B

A parcel of land (Lot 1-B of the subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-180597, being a portion of Lot 1, (LRC) Psd-171033, LRC Rec. No. 2029), situated in the Municipality of Makati, Province of Rizal, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the NE., points 6 to 10 by Lot 2, (LRC) Psd-171033, beyond by Jupiter Street 17.50 m. wide (Street Lot 6, Psd-49226); on the SE., points 10 to 1 by Lot 1-C of the subdivision plan; on the SW., points 1 to 5 by Buendia Avenue Extension 35.00 m. wide (Street Lot 8, Psd-49226); and on the NW., points 5 to 6 by Lot 1-a of the subdivision plan.
