PROCLAMATION NO. 1704

CREATING AND DESIGNATING TWO (2) PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN SITUATED AT BARANGAY LOMA, MUNICIPALITY OF BIÑAN, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA, AS AN INCLUSION TO THE EXISTING LAGUNA TECHNOPARK SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations and Resolution No. 08-471 dated 10 September 2008 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, two (2) parcels of land located at Barangay Loma, Biñan, Laguna for inclusion to the existing Laguna Technopark Special Economic Zone with an aggregate area of FORTY ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT (41,898) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of Land (Lot 1 of the consolidation subdivision plan (LRC) Pcs-17367, being a portion of the consolidation of Lots 3278 & 3349, Biñan Estate, LRC Rec. No. 8374), situated in the Barangay Loma, Municipality of Biñan, Province of Laguna, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the NE., points 2 to 3 by Lot 2675-BFLS-264-D; points 3 to 4 by Lot 3345, Biñan Estate; on the SE., points 5 to 6 by Lot 2689-New, Biñan Estate; on the SW., points 6 to 1 by Lot 2, of the consolidation subdivision plan; and on the NW., points 1 to 2 by Lot 3277, Biñan Estate.
